End of the Year :/ THANK YOU
WOW! I cannot believe another year has come and gone already ( well almost 
)! It seems like just yesturday I was stepping into my trailer 503 for my new Literature Class! I have really enjoyed all the exciting and interesting learning experiances and all around life experiance that I have gained from my English class. For example, without this class I would never of even known about wordpress let alone how to make a blog! So I just wanted to take a little time to thank Mrs. Breaux for all her hard work and patience. I know were not easy to teach but thank you for not quitting on us ! Have a great summer and I hope to see you next year!

The Excitement Behind Henry David Thoreau
I chose the famous writer Henry David Thoreau to do my Eleventh Grade Literature Research Paper on because while studying some of his works throughout the year, an interest really sparked in me due to his transcendentalist views and free spirited visions. For this project I have researched Thoreau and have written an elaborate paper on his early childhood and the developement of his life playing a role in the evolution of his writing. I chose to look at Thoreau’s childhood mainly because of my childhood; growing up in a big family has really changed my whole output on life, and from what I have learned Thoreaus childhood shaped him into the famouse writer he became. I have thoroughly enjoyed learning about and analyzing Thoreau and look forward to finding more and more of his writings to read and really look into. Thanks for your time in checking out my blog!

Well Hello,
My name is MacKenzie Swindall and I currently a Junior in highschool but I am looking forward to being a senior in just nine more school days! I live a very active lifestyle, and at times it gets tiring but I would not have it any other way. I have been playing tennis since I was eight and have always dreamed of getting a college scholarship. And despite some shoulder problems and other injuries, my dream is starting to come true. College is approaching but I am still appreciating highschool while it last. I come from a big family, so I am seldom bored. I love scary movies and am going to be a nurse when I grow up. I wish to work in childrens extended care units and really hope to make a difference in many families lives! I worked really hard on my blog so I hope you stay and take a look around!
